Building an Innovation Community Through "Cooperation" as a Bridge: Internal and External Collaboration

Once sown into the "soil" of innovation, agriculture's "seeds" burst forth with boundless vitality. In recent years, Yonfer has continuously stepped up its investment in R&D and industrialization, driving collaborative innovation through the power of technology.

Internally, we are laying a solid foundation and building a high-level R&D matrix. Yonfer has established an R&D structure consisting of "One Academy, Three Institutes," collaborating with research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Huazhong Agricultural University, and the Hubei Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences to jointly build several R&D platforms, including the Key Laboratory of Crop Efficient and Specific Fertilizers under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Hubei Provincial Center for Innovation in Green and Efficient Fertilizer Technologies.

The vision extends far beyond this. Yonfer has also joined forces with the University of Melbourne and the University of Adelaide to establish the MAX-IFIC International Fertilizer Innovation Center, thereby advancing scientific and technological progress and product innovation on an even higher level. Leveraging this platform, Yonfer has successively launched new products such as Yonfer Yoya—products that not only match but surpass world-class international standards—and have received high market recognition, setting an exemplary model for Chinese fertilizer companies in terms of independent innovation in core products and technologies. This "internal collaborative problem-solving and external open networking" approach effectively brings together top industry talent and cutting-edge technological resources from both home and abroad.

In addition, Yonfer has established the Overseas Expert Workstation as a platform for attracting overseas scientific and technological talent and innovative technologies. Currently, Yonfer has established collaborations with numerous international industry organizations, research institutions, and 11 overseas experts. It has organized various exchange activities, including the "China-Germany New Fertilizer Development Forum," the "Overseas Experts' Visit to Hubei," and "European Study Tours." Moreover, Yonfer has sent R&D and marketing personnel to Germany for study and exchange, and has dispatched technical service teams to Thailand and Vietnam.

Through coordinated efforts between government and enterprises, we're bridging the "last mile" to ensure that our achievements are effectively implemented. In terms of nationwide strategic deployment, Yonfer is precisely aligning its industrial strengths with local development needs, thereby deepening collaboration between government and enterprises. For instance, in terms of industrial project implementation, in June 2025, Yonfer signed a cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Huaishang District, Bengbu City, Anhui Province, to invest in the construction of a new 1 million-ton-per-year specialized fertilizer project for crops. After going into production this October, the project will provide targeted support to the major grain-producing regions of the Huang-Huai-Hai plain and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, truly transforming innovative breakthroughs into tangible industrial support that benefits and strengthens agriculture.

Using "connection" as the medium: Gathering global resources to forge a superior product chain

Currently, China's fertilizer industry is at a critical juncture in its structural transformation. Pooling global scientific and technological resources is essential for accelerating industry innovation and agricultural modernization. Yonfer is committed to precisely aligning world-leading technological resources with China's local manufacturing strengths and distribution networks. By engaging in deep cooperation with international fertilizer giants, we aim to elevate China's level of scientific fertilization practices.

The collaboration between Yonfer and Germany's Compo Eepert GmbH has become a benchmark for "localizing international brands" in the industry, providing a replicable model for Sino-German agricultural cooperation. In 2017, the two parties signed a strategic agreement. Yonfer introduced Compo Expert's globally leading DMPP stabilized fertilizer technology, which effectively slows down the conversion of ammonium nitrogen into nitrate nitrogen, enabling more Chinese farmers to access high-quality fertilizers from international brands. Over the past nine years, the scope of their cooperation has expanded steadily—from initial product synergy to encompassing green agriculture and global markets. Leveraging this technology, Yonfer has achieved localized production at its base in Jingmen, Hubei Province, and obtained exclusive distribution rights for Compo Expert's designated products in mainland China. As a result, Yonfer has successfully developed a water-soluble, fast-acting compound fertilizer with stable product quality and remarkable effects in boosting yields and improving crop quality.

Yonfer's european study tours

The collaboration between Yonfer and Brandt Consolidated, Inc., a well-known U.S. specialty fertilizer company, has injected new momentum into China-U.S. agricultural cooperation and provided a brand-new solution for the transformation and upgrading of China's fertilizer industry. In 2023, the two parties reached a strategic partnership. Yonfer introduced "REACTION Revitalization Technology," developed by Brandt's Nobel Prize–winning laboratory and a cutting-edge U.S. biotechnology R&D team, and applied it for the first time in the compound fertilizer sector, launching the "Vibaran" specialty fertilizer series. This specialty fertilizer features a dual-color granule design that clearly distinguishes its two key functions. Leveraging Yonfer's robust distribution network, the product has quickly penetrated major vegetable and fruit production areas in southern China. Thanks to its outstanding product performance and efficient market penetration capabilities, it has rapidly become another benchmark for the localization of international brands.

Use "effectiveness" as proof: Let hundreds of millions of farmers benefit from the fruits of cooperation

The value of collaboration ultimately hinges on the harvests of hundreds of millions of farmers. Yonfer not only brings in international technologies but also dives deep to build an integrated agricultural service system encompassing "technology + products + services." In addition to letting the demonstration results speak for themselves, Yonfer also fosters deep connections with farmers through initiatives such as the "Planting King Competition" and "High-Yield King Training." Yonfer, together with its distributors, brings premium fertilizers and advanced technologies directly to millions of households all over China.
