YONFER attends the 2026 Impact Investing Forum Hong Kong

 On 28th January, 2026, Mr. Jingtao ZHANG, General Manager of International Business Division of Yonfer Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., attended the 2026 International Forum for Impact Investing in Hong Kong. With the theme of "Impact in Action: Forging Resilient Futures", this forum was co-hosted by Finance Center for South-South Cooperation (FCSSC), Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion Hong Kong Foundation (CAFI HK Foundation), and UNIDO ITPO Shanghai.

 

In the keynote speech delivered by Dr. Zhong WU, Director General of FCSSC, he pointed out that it is a great opportunity to leverage the resources in Hong Kong, the Asian financial center, to provide capital, technology and advanced ESG concepts for companies to go global. Guided by ESG principles, businesses will not only pursuit financial return, but also promote social fairness and wellbeing for the humankind.

 

In the keynote speech of Dr. Duoguang BEI, President of Chinese Academy of Financial Inclusion, he said that the concept of sustainable development enables investors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of enterprises. It provides solutions for long-term growth and enhances creditworthiness for businesses. He hopes that more Chinese companies will enrich the case library of sustainable development in the future.

 

The Honourable Mrs. Regina IP LAU Suk-yee, GBM, GBS, JP, delivered a speech and pointed out that in the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, Hong Kong plays an unparalleled and unique role in integrating into the mainland and connecting with the world. Through inclusive finance, Hong Kong can enhance its economic resilience and cultural inclusiveness, and better serve its people.

 

Mr. Guangshao TU, Executive Director of Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, stated that as the carbon emission reduction system matures and sustainable information disclosure becomes more comprehensive, the concept of sustainable development presents both challenges and opportunities. He hopes to leverage technological advancements to drive corporate growth.

 

Dr. Weiguo ZHANG, Distinguished Professor of Finance and Economics at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, said that ESG practices are more important than words. It is not enough to just produce a beautiful ESG report; it must be implemented in the daily operations of enterprises to bring long-term value to their development.

Mr. Jingtao ZHANG, on behalf of Yonfer, presented a Panel Dialogue on Enterprises Going Global: Driving Sustainability through International Expansion. In this dialogue, Mr. Zhang said that Yonfer, as a leading company in plant nutrition, has been serving farmers for over 44 years. By providing high quality fertilizers and down-to-earth agronomic services, Yonfer has helped nearly 700 million farmers in China and overseas to increase crop yield and household income, safeguarding food security and improving livelihood wellbeing. Yonfer has been upholding ESG principles through its business operation, achieving its mission of "Benefiting Society Based on Phosphorus, Nurturing the Agriculture around the World". Mr. Zhang also shared the global expansion experiences of Yonfer and highly appreciated the advices of experts and successful entrepreneurs in international business.
