Yonfer is the supporting unit of the Key Laboratory for High-Efficiency Specialized Crop Fertilizers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. As the first open project launched by the laboratory, "Development and Demonstration of Nutritional and Health Technologies for Xinjiang Cotton" will leverage Yonfer's industrial advantages in the research, development, large-scale production, and field promotion of high-efficiency specialized crop fertilizers, combined with the research accumulation of the Cotton Institute in cotton physiology and ecology, smart cultivation, etc., to jointly overcome the technical bottlenecks in the development of Xinjiang's cotton industry through deep integration of "scientific research + industry," and promote the transformation and upgrading of cotton production towards a green and efficient direction.

According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, Xinjiang's cotton output reached 6.165 million tons in 2025, accounting for 92.8% of the national total, proving Xinjiang's strategic position as China's largest core cotton-producing area.

Yonfer has long been deeply rooted in the Xinjiang market. This collaboration with the Cotton Research Institute of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences will leverage Yonfer's solid product R&D experience, well-established production layout, and extensive sales network in Xinjiang, along with the Cotton Research Institute's research strengths in areas such as cotton scenario-based demand insights, stress-resistant cultivation, and smart production. The two parties will complement each other's strengths and work closely together, focusing on key areas such as product iteration and upgrading, precision water and fertilizer technology breakthroughs, and addressing pain points in application scenarios. They will jointly promote the optimization and demonstration application of cotton growth management, aiming to serve the national cotton supply security and rural revitalization strategy. This collaboration will provide Xinjiang cotton farmers with comprehensive, scientific, and efficient nutrient management solutions, driving industrial quality and efficiency through technology, and helping every cotton field achieve higher-quality, higher-yield harvests.

The establishment of this project signifies that the company will more accurately match the crop's nutrient requirements in the future development of cotton-specific fertilizers, better meeting the needs of improving cotton quality and yield, and saving fertilizer while increasing efficiency. This not only reflects Yonfer's corporate mission of "benefiting all regions with phosphorus as the base and enriching agriculture and the world," but also represents an important practice for the company to move towards its corporate vision of "leading new industry trends and building a century-old Yonfer."
