Li Weifeng introduced the project's background, policies, construction progress, and technological processes. Liu Xuerong highly approved of Yonfer's innovative approach of applying harmless phosphogypsum to ecological restoration. He inquired in detail about the project's overall positioning and goals, measures to ensure the surrounding environment and safety, long-term planning, and also learned about Yonfer's work in applying phosphogypsum to construction materials and road base materials. Liu Xuerong highly praised Yonfer 's efforts in the comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum, stating that Yonfer has always been at the forefront of the industry, demonstrating the responsibility of a leading enterprise in the phosphate fertilizer sector.
The comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum has long been a global challenge. Governments at all levels attach great importance to it and encourage phosphorus chemical enterprises to boldly explore and expand utilization channels. In June 2023, the Dongbao District Government approved Yonfer 's pilot project for ecological restoration in the abandoned mine pit of Aizigou within its jurisdiction.

It is also another pioneering effort by Yonfer in exploring and practicing new channels and scenarios for the comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum. While restoring abandoned mines, it solves the problem of phosphogypsum, achieving a win-win situation.
