  • 1982

    In 1982, Shiqiaoyi Town Phosphate Plant (hereinafter referred to as “Shiqiaoyi Plant”), Yonfer’s predecessor, was founded with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons SSP. However, the actual production was only less than 2,000 tons per year.

  • 1988

    In 1988, Shiqiaoyi Plant was on the edge of bankruptcy, and it was necessary to reform towards operational leasing. On 1st May, 1988, Mr.Caixue Yang, at time a worker in the plant and later the Chairman of board of Yonfer, won the operation right of Shiqiaoyi Plant by open tendering process.

  • 1994

    In 1994, a new SSP plant (No.2 SSP Plant), with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons was invested and built.

  • 1995

    In 1995, a new calcium magnesium phosphate plant, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons was invested and established.

  • 1996

    In 1996, Yonfer’s first sulfuric acid plant with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons was founded, gradually supplying raw materials by itself.

  • 1997

    In 1997, two MAP plants were built with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons, which was expanded to 120,000 tons later. This signified a transformation towards high concentration phosphate fertilizers.

  • 1999

    In 1999, the first SOP compound fertilizer production line with an annual capacity of 200,000 ton was built. Later, seven SOP compound fertilizer production lines in total were built, reaching 1 million production capacity for SOP compound fertilizer. This signified a transformation from straight fertilizer to compound fertilizer.

  • 2002

    In 2002, Yonfer was privatized from local township owned enterprise to a privately owned enterprise.

  • 2003

    In 2003, Hubei Auttler Chemicals Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Yonfer and an Australia investor, was established, producing 500,000 tons NPK annually. At the same year, Jiayuan Chemicals, a local municipally owned enterprise, was took over by Yonfer and changed its name to Yonfer Jiayuan Branch. With this acquisition, Yongfer had 60,000 tons synthesized ammonia per year.

  • 2004

    In 2004, a production base was established in Yichang, Hubei province. In this base, there was a complete MAP production line with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons, as well as the auxiliary facilities including phosphate acid, sulphuric acid, mine selection and phosphor-gypsum yard. In the same year, a production base with 800,000 ton per year NPK production capacity was built in Heze, Shandong province.

  • 2005

    In 2005, a production base in Zhongxiang, Hubei, was built, including 1.2 million tpy mining and selection facility, 300,000 tpy MAP production facility, and auxiliary phosphate acid and sulfuric acid production facility.

  • 2008

    n 2008, a production base in Leibo, Sichuang was invested and built, including 600,000 tpy MAP production facility, and auxiliary phosphate acid, sulfuric acid production, and mining selection facility.

  • 2010

    In 2010, together with China Agricultural University, Yonfer established the CAU-Yonfer New-type Fertilizer Research and Development Center, in an aim to promote research and development, industrial production, and technical promotion and service of new-type fertilizer, to foster high-level talents, and to finally build a nationally high-level research and development platform of fertilizer. In the next two years, a series of new-type fertilizers such as nitrate SOP, slow- and controlled-release, organic-mineral, water soluble, and crop-specific fertilizers were introduced by the center to the market, transforming Yonfer’s product portfolio from traditional fertilizers to new-type fertilizers.

  • 2011

    In 2011, a production base in Xushui, Hebei province was invested, including a production facility of 400,000 tpy compound fertilizers. In the same year, a phosphate chemical research center was co-established with Sichuan University, in an aim to research and promote the refined phosphate products.

  • 2012

    In 2012, a production base in Binyang, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, was built, including a production facility of 400,000 tpy compound fertilizers. In the same year, two training centers in Jingmen and Beijing were opened.

  • 2013

    In 2013, Jiayuan company was shut down under the request of the local government due to the fact that the Jiayuan plant located along the down side of the drinking water sources of Jingmen. In 2013, Beijing Fengying Xingye Agricultural Means Co., Ltd. was founded, focusing on the international trade of industrial fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphate, and potash. Also in 2013, after restructuring of China Apparels by Xinyangfeng was approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Xinyangfeng became a publicly listed company in Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In 2013, Jiayuan company was shut down under the request of the local government due to the fact that the Jiayuan plant located along the down side of the drinking water sources of Jingmen. In 2013, Beijing Fengying Xingye Agricultural Means Co., Ltd. was founded, focusing on the international trade of industrial fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphate, and potash.   • 2014

    In 2014, the listed company was formally changed to Hubei Xinyangfeng Fertilizer Co., Ltd.

  • 2015

    In 2015, a strategic cooperation was established between Xinyangfeng and China National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Research Centre and Mr. Yuan Longping, academician of China Academy of Engineering, was honored as Special Advisor to the company. In 2015, a new production line with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons NPK was built in Jiangxi base.

  • 2016

    In 2016, there were 6 rounds of heavy rainfall in Jingmen, leading to a big disaster to the local community. Yonfer donated 1 million Yuan to support the local community. In 2016, the second phase of Zhonglin operation, including 600,000 tpy nitro compound fertilizer, was built and put into operation.

  • 2017

    In 2017, the specific railway line to Yonfer Jilin base was built. In 2017, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Yonfer and Compo Expert GmbH, a global leader in specialty fertilizers based in Munster, Germany.

  • 2018

    In 2018, the National-level Key Laboratory co-established by Yonfer and China Agricultural University was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affair and an inauguration ceremony was held in Beijing.

  • 2019

    In 2019, the company name has changed from “Hubei Xinyangfeng Fertilizer Co., Ltd.” to “Xinyangfeng Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.”, following necessary procedures.

  • 2019

    In 2019, the new Logo for Yonfer was introduced. This new Logo better explains the “Green development” concept.
